MUSICAL DIRECTOR & CHOIR LEADER
Matt has been a musical director and choir leader for over 25 years. He works in the Classical Choral tradition, Musical Theatre, and Popular Choir genres.

Matt has conducted Vivaldi's Gloria in Virtual Venice, and the real Venice in 2021. On line he has conducted the John Rutter Gloria, Mozart Requiem, Brahms Requiem, and Durufle Requiem.
Matt is very familiar with Musical Theatre shows and has conducted over 50 shows with chorus and bands - Sweeney Todd, Crazy for You, Carousel, and Sister Act to name a few.
As well as conducting Musicals and Classical music, Matt loves to pull together "pop up" choirs in pubs, restaurants, cafes, hill tops, stations and football stadiums!

Pianist

Matthew plays jazz, classical and show music. He is an excellent accompanist and sight reader. He also play jazz piano in a duo with his wife, performing at Weddings, parties and restaurants in the region and occasionally sings and accompanies himself. He is currently teaching piano to private pupils at home and at Prior Park College. He played with GBH Big Band for 10 years in venues such as the Pavilion, Wiltshire Music Centre and at lots of wedding and corporate gigs. Matt also teaches piano from his home studio and on zoom., and at Prior Park School in Bath |
