This term is going to get busy in November....everything wants to happen in November....but I've tried to spread things out as much as possible without cancelling things!
September 2018
Piano lessons continue both at Prior Park, and at home and I continue to use google docs to take notes in lesson and write down homework. This is shared with student and parents.
I lead the The Good Afternoon Choir in Frome on Monday afternoons which is always a highlight of the week. Lots of lovely people! We have a concert in October, and of course our Christmas concert too.
Pub Choirs are held weekly in both Combe Down and Southstoke. I also have 2 random nights, one at St.James Wine Vaults and one in the Old Down Inn in Emborough. Www.mypubchoir.com
"Sing and Sandwich" starts in September too. A lunch time choir for people in the centre of Bath at the Bath Brew House. 45 minutes of singing while people have their lunch.
I continue to be pianist at Weston University for their degree in Musical Theatre, but this year also I'm their Musical Director for their Production in Windsor Theatre Royal in November.
I'm looking forward to accompanying some singers at a concert in Clifton mid september. Musical theatre and classical solos and some harmony singing.
Bath School of Acting start at the end of term, and I play for their Repetoire lessons on Wednesdays (sight reading fun), so I'm looking forward to seeing what talent develops there.
Wessex Water Well Being Choir will start with its first term of the year, financially supported by the company, so we are hoping for new members to join and swell the chorus in preparation for Christmas.
Bath Light Operatic Group (BLOGS) continues to rehearse for our production of 42nd Street, also in November. Taptstic music (but I wear my ear plugs for these bits!)
